We also celebrated my 30th birthday that same weekend! It was great, we had a bbq party at our house hosted by my mom and Corey. What an event, at least 75 people in my house. It was great though, like one big family reunion. Easily the best birthday ever, especially with having my mom and dad there with me to celebrate together. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Since then, Corey has also had his final check up with Dr. Lewis for his Sarcoidosis. Dr. Lewis decided since everything seemed good to ween him off the prednisone. As of last week, he's completly off of it. He did however want him to get a CT Scan and another respitory test to make sure we have a "new" base in case it does decide to come back again.
We did get the results of the CT Scan and they were good and some not so good. Good news was his lungs were perfectly clear with no signs of the disease what-so-ever. The not so good news was he noticed some enlarged lymphnodes in his left armpit area. He said he didn't think it was anything to worry about too much, but if he was having swelling or discomfort to get it checked out. Well, he has been and we just assumed it was a reaction to his deoderant. So we decided after my birthday to get him in to have it checked out.
He went in this last Wednesday to his PCP and I was bummed that I couldn't go with him. According to Corey, the Dr. said he thinks his body is fighting infection from going off the prednisone which is why the lymphnodes were enlarged. He did say however that he was going to review the CT Scan with the surgeon to see if he needs to get a biopsy done, so we're waiting on that just to make sure. In the mean time, he gave Corey some antibiotics to fight whatever it is he has and hoping that this doesn't mean anything else. We're just keeping our fingres crossed. :) All in all, we're staying positive, focusing on what's to come in the new future, (THE BABY! :)
WE'll be sure to keep everyone updated on what's happening with both! We find out in only 2 more weeks what we're having! I can't wait!
